In 1991, he retired from the West Bend Police Department after 25 years of dedicated service. Ron worked for the West Bend Police Department as a third-shift dispatcher. ![]() They returned to the states and settled in the West Bend area. While stationed near Kassel, Germany, he met and married Helga Kersting on April 21, 1960. In 1956, Ron joined the United States Army. He graduated from Random Lake High School in 1954. The family moved to Kewaskum, then farmed in the Kohlsville and Boltonville areas. ![]() ![]() ![]() He was born in 1936 near Tigerton to the late Raymond and Erna (nee McFarlane) Erickson, the oldest of seven children. Erickson, of West Bend, died on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Cedar Crossings at the age of 78 years.
